An Overview

The purpose of the this article is to guide you through installing the SonicWall Mobile Connect application to your computer.


Important

Please read through all important information before continuing with this article

  • You MUST have completed the Registering SonicWall with Authenticator App (Click here for Guide) first before continuing with this article
  • There is a possibility that you will not be able to install this application given your users installer rights. If this application requires administrator credentials to install, please place an IT work ticket by clicking HERE


Instructions:

Please make sure to follow all steps as written below. If there is any issues with this article please report them to the IT Department immediately for corrections and additions.


  1. Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and navigate to http://employee.cfservices.org/

  2. Enter your windows user name and password in the fields provided. Once completed select "cfs.local" from the Domain drop down and press "Login".

  3. You will now be asked to provide the code from the authenticator app "Authy" as configured in the article Registering SonicWall with Authenticator App (Click here for Guide).  To do this, open your the "Authy" app on your mobile device and click the "CFS VPN" icon. You will now be shown a code that you must enter in the code field as shown in the screen below:

  4. Click the icon for "NetExtender" which will launch a pop up.
  5. Click the "Download" button to launch another pop up screen
  6. Click the "Windows.exe" icon as shown below. You will now be asked where to save the file.  Please save it to your downloads folder
  7. Once the file has downloaded, Go to your Downloads folder on your computer and double click the "NXSetupU" file to begin installation.

  8. When prompted to make changes to your computer select "Yes"

  9. On the NetExtender Welcome screen press the "Next" button
  10. On the licensing agreement page, choose "I Accept the terms of the License Agreement" and then press the "Next" button

  11. On the install location screen, leave the Destination folder as is and simply click the "Next" button
  12. On the shortcuts screen leave all boxes checked and click the "Install" button. Please wait while the program installs as this could take anywhere from 10 seconds to a couple minutes.

  13. Congratulations, you have now finished the install to use the SonicWall application to connect and access CFS resources.  You are now all set to log into the VPN using the article: Establishing a VPN Connection
