An Overview

This article will outline the steps needed to remotely retrieve voicemails left on office phones.

  • There are two ways of retrieving your voicemail from home. 


Instructions:

Please make sure to follow all steps as written below. If there is any issues with this article please report them to the IT Department immediately for corrections and additions.


METHOD ONE


  1. Call the main phone # of the building your office phone is in. 
  2. When the auto attendant answers hit the # button. 
  3. You should hear "Nimbus voicemail system...mailbox"
  4. Enter your extension. (The auto attendant will ask for your mailbox [extension] several times. If you do not answer after several requests, the call will hang up.)
  5. You should hear "Password" 
  6. Enter your password.(The auto attendant will ask for your mailbox password several times. If you do not answer after several requests, the call will hang up.)
  7. You now have access to your office phone voicemails.


    METHOD TWO

    1. Call your phone directly ex. (508) 742-XXXX (replace X's with your extension) 
    2. When your voicemail recording starts to play, hit the * button. 
    3. You will hear "Password"
    4. Enter your password.
      (If you did not set a password for your voicemail, the default password is typically your 4 digit extension)
    5. If you entered your password correctly, then you now have access to your office phone voicemails.
