An Overview

This article will outline the steps needed in order to forward your calls from your office phone to another number.

Please read through all important information before continuing with this article

  • This article pertains to all Yealink phones ONLY
  • This article outlines the steps for an "Always Forward" approach but the same can be applied to both "Busy Forward" and "No Answer" options as well.
  • Disabling call forward is the same process as listed below except you will choose "Disable" in stead of "Enable" in the always forward section.


Instructions:

Please make sure to follow all steps as written below. If there is any issues with this article please report them to the IT Department immediately for corrections and additions.


  1. Press the "Menu" button on your phone as shown in the screen shot below:

  2. Using the "Menu Navigation" controls labeled in the example below, use the arrows to navigate on the screen to the "Features" icon and then press the "OK" button located in the center of the "Menu Navigation" controls.



  3. Press the button for "Call Forwarding" as shown in the screen shot below:


  4. Press the button on the phone to the left of the forward option for "Always Forward"


  5. Using the "Menu Navigation" buttons as shown below, change the 'Always Forward' option to "Enabled" by pressing the right arrow to change it to "Enabled".

    Please Note: Disabling call forward is the same process as listed below except you will choose "Disable" in stead of "Enable" in the always forward section.


  6. Using the menu navigation arrows again, press the down arrow and type the phone number you would like to forward to (ex: 5085429802) using the phoens number keys. Once you have successfully entered that, press the "OK" button in between the arrows of the Menu Navigation controls.


  7. Congratulations! your call forward is now setup and enabled!
